On Apr. 10, the Ministry of Health announced 198 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total tally to 2,108.

This is the fifth time in six days Singapore has seen a daily increase of over 100 new cases. The first instance was on Apr. 5, with 120 new cases.
Meanwhile, 32 more cases have been discharged from hospitals on Friday, which means a total of 492 cases have fully recovered and been discharged.

98 cases are linked to existing clusters and 29 linked to other cases.
However, 71 cases remain unlinked.
Of the 875 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, most are stable or improving. 32 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit. This is an increase of three.
Three new clusters have also been announced. They are a dormitory at 31 Sungei Kadut Avenue, ICA Building (10 Kallang Road), and a renovation site at the National University Hospital (5 Lower Kent Ridge Road).
One woman died of Covid-19. She was an 86-year-old Singaporean citizen, previously identified as Patient 987.

The covid 19 update will likely be delayed this evening. Too many cases and every effort will be made to classify as non covid 19 related to lower the number.
