当地时间3月27日，美国纽约州州长科莫宣布，位于纽约市曼哈顿的第一个针对新冠肺炎疫情改造的临时医院完工。美军工程部队、国民警卫队及该中心员工耗时一周，共同完成了贾维茨会展中心（Jacob K. Javits Convention Center）的改造，可以容纳1000个床位。每个病人都有自己的隔间，通过帘子遮挡可以起到一定的隐私保护作用。

On March 27 local time, Governor Cuomo of the State of New York announced that the construction of the first temporary hospital in Manhattan, New York City, for the reconstruction of the new crown pneumonia epidemic was completed. The U.S. engineering unit, the National Guard, and the center's staff took a week to complete the transformation of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, which can accommodate 1,000 beds. Each patient has its own compartment, which can be protected by curtains to a certain degree of privacy.
