11th November 2019 – (Hong Kong) Riot police fired 3 rounds of live ammunition at rioters clad in black in Sai Wan Ho and at least one of them was hit. The incident happened at the junction of Tai On Street and Shau Kei Wan junction.

At around 7.20am today, a police officer attempted to disperse rioters who tried to set up road block. One of them ran to the pedestrian walkway and another man in white walked towards to the police officer to provoke him. In defence, the police officer wielded his gun and he continued to infuriate the officer and shouted ‘Come over!’ Police then pointed his gun at the man in white before lurching forward. He then held him by neck and both of them engaged in a physical fight. Another 21-year-old man clad in black then approached the two and demanded the police to release the man. During the scuffle, police pointed the gun at the man clad in black while he immediately pushed the gun away. Police then fire a shot at his right chest and he fell to the ground. Another rioter clad in black then ambushed the police officer while he fired two gun shots at him. It was unsure if the man was hit by the shots during the commotion but sources revealed . Other police officers subsequently arrived to restrained the two men.
At 11.40am today, the 21-year-old man who was shot underwent surgery and he was reported to be in stable condition. His liver was injured.
