Gecko comprain cannot sleep

SOME patients at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) are having a less than restful time, as construction noise keeps them wide awake.

There are four construction projects under way - to build new lifts at the Medical Centre, a new Emergency Diagnostic Therapy Centre, a link bridge between the hospital and Ren Ci Community Hospital, and an office annexe building.

Patients in a non-air-conditioned Class B2 ward near the annexe construction, for example, say they were disturbed by loud banging noises last Sunday morning.
