There is a similar non-Chinese beggar just after Commonwealth MRT station towards Queensway. Near the 'Commonwealth View' pavilion.

He waits in 'ambush' for you, then 'waylays' you on the pavement and begs you for money.

He'll ask you for money, any amount, to buy food and groceries.

Another beggar would be the old man along the shophouse corridor south of Berseh Food Centre in Jalan Besar. He always requests for $1, no more, no less.

Politically correct answer is (C ) buy makan for them. The real proper answer is Soylent Green, to end their suffering

They are poor cos they don't want to work, they don't go for training and retraining.
No on will be left behind by the Govt.
Pride of PAP.

You should tell them to fuck off and if they find life too hard they should take the Soylent Green option.

I always point them to the nearest NPP. The police patrol car, after taking down his particulars, will send him home in Volvo S60 radio car. Better than Gojek and Grab. I would also volunteer to bring him to the nearest NPP, to see if he is really serious.

I met one old cunt at Berseh FC who spoke good English, long messy hair, looks like a retired mamasan, asked for $2 to buy dinner.

She could be someone from the legendary Jue Qing Gu (The Emotionless Valley).

Round them all up and make them do road works. Then pay them $5 a day. They can sleep at Istanan.
