Ah Heng says sinkees are very happy with PAP

Ah Heng is self-delusional and lacking sorely in confidence in being the PAP prime torch bearer for the next GE. He desperately needs more of such staged, feel-good pep talks and wayangs to steel his nerves. I worry whether he can take all the stress.

I'm very happy with the PAP. So are my family and my ward's residents. Bro Swee Keat is correct in assessing that most sinkies are still happy with the PAP. PAP will win the next few GEs with an overwhelming majority as usual. We're expecting Victor Lye and his team to retake Aljunied GRC.

If the election is run by the UN, then the PAP will be toast. Election in SINKapore is RIGGED.

How so rigged?

Sinkies' votes are confidential. Even the oppies agreed so, and they get to see the ballots destroyed 6 months after the election results are announced.

There's nothing to stop sinkies from voting against the PAP after receiving whatever goodies before the elections.

Votes are confidential ...so confidential that you know it means nothing.
If PAP wants to win, the votes cast for opposition is turned to votes for PAP candidate.

There is NO reason why the Election has to be controlled by the government unless the intent is to engineer results to favour the ruling party.

The votes are counted in the presence of election agent grassroots volunteers from all political parties involved. None of the oppie grassroots election agents have complained about the vote counting being false each election.

In the recent GE, PAP lost by a razor thin margin to the oppies for Aljunied GRC.

Heard of missing ballot boxes or ballot boxes get delayed?

One or two insignificant losses are necessary to portray falsehood.

Why can't elections be run by an independent body not associated with the government? This independent body can call in international observers too. Unless, the intent is to cheat, there is no reason why the election is run by the Prime Minister.

Every civil service is associated with the ruling party, given that the minister is from a political party and the civil servants, being salaried staff, takes direct orders from the minister.

Singapore's election is fair because sinkies votes are confidential to all, including the PM, and voters are free to vote against the ruling party. They are not obliged to vote for PAP in spite of all the upgrading or handouts they've received.

Whatever perceived threats made by the PAP during elections is also an illusion because a PAP that is voted out has no ability to execute those threats. Sinkies have also seen an oppie run the GRC for 10 years. Oppie wards still command a relatively decent property price and their infrastructure still works. Potong Pasir MRT station was also built and open while the ward was still in oppie hands.

Then why not have an INDEPENDENT Election entity?

How do you know they'll be independent and not paid for the oppies or the CIA? Just look at oppie Francis Seow.

Elections run by the 'independent UN' simply means the UN will have a chance to interfere with our local elections.

it's true. wherever i go for makan, can see sinkies are happy and preoccupied with their meals so long when they get a table to chope. for those waiting for a (clean) table, they are not willing to share one even though seats are available not are they willing to sit at a "dirty" table. thus they get anxious and unhappy for a while. nonetheless, after 6.9 minutes of milling around and watching others eat, they get their tables and are happy again. all is good.

https://temasekreviewnews.com/minis...r-complaints-or-objections-from-singaporeans/

At a closed-door forum held with 200 ruling party supporters, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said that he did not hear much complaints or objections from Singaporeans on any issue and that the people around him are merely “asking for details” over the announcements:

“The Government has not received many concerns, but there have been requests for more details about the announcements.”

The PAP millionaire minister claimed that Singaporeans are not against the government hiking CPF rate and that there are only questions about “re-skilling old people”:

I wanna have whatever he is smoking...

The problem is that in Singapore, the civil service is not just associated with the ruling party; it is in fact owned controlled and manipulated by the government to its own advantage. In a fair and truly democratic country, the civil service remains politically-neutral and even-handed when discharging its responsibilities towards the citizenry. Here the whole civil service is treated as a family extension of PAP's many appendages; almost behaving like party cadres although occasionally they try to pretend to be politically-independent and professional. No where is this most apparent than the Loyal Election Commission in the PMO's office.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Welcome to the one party bao gar liao, ownself check ownself system. The 70% are okay with this.

It goes beyond the civil service. They look out for their cronies in the private sector too.

Civil service in a democracy is apolitical. They implement the policies of the elected government. Civil servant's loyalty is to the country, not the government. If a government is found to be corrupt, it is the responsibility for the civil servant to tell sinkees about it. This is not the case in SINKapore. Our civil servants does the political work of the PAP; for eg. the PM press secretary is handling Pinky's personal vendetta against critics.

The votes can be changed based on the whims and fancies of the PM. Election Department does his dirty work so that he can hang on to power. So, stop this bs about votes matter in our election.

Token opposition does NOT prove that SINKapore is a democracy. Look at their track record ...what have they done to make the government more responsive to the people? What have they achieved in ensuring that there is no accountability? Nothing.

sinkies must also sextisfy their children's (and their own) simple needs too by queueing for hours at golden arches. the phenomenon does not change since y2k.

It boils down to the scholar system.

Sinkieland scholarships all have bond and they send the scholars to the top posts in army and civil service.

So it is all rigged from the start. 18 year olds are chosen and bribed with Scholarships. Then are treated carefully and groomed to think to be elite and then put in elite positions. The whole education system is designed for this.

What do you think that multibillion dollar tuition industry is geared for? To get kids to become scholars and eventual lackeys of the state.

Very reminiscent of the Ming Dynasty or whatever dynasty scholars (maybe @tanwahtiu can help)
