I wonder how it feels to be in MP Zainudin Nordin's shoes after having to move the amendment on Viswa's motion.

There were many things in Viswa's speech and one central theme was equality and the minorities. Something that was central to the pledge. As a member of "the" minority which was the intended beneficiary of Viswa's speech, Zainudin moved the amendment.

It will be interesting to read the Malay ground and their next move. Interesting times.

the pap has always played racial politics to stay in power. they get indians to sue jbj and malays to move the amendment on viswa's motion. zainudin may be malay by birth, but in practice he will always push the pap wheel barrow to advance himself.

lky's reply is full of baloney. if he truly believes that the malays' special position is indeed protected by the constitution, then the is no reason why the malays cannot perform important roles in the SAF like their fellow citizens.

sad to see, there are no natural leaders or original thinkers left that would come forward to rebut viswa's motion. unfortunately, they still need the octogenarian who have passed his use by date to continue to thump his chest.

singapore is indeed in a sorry state.
