Major discovery of percentage of Hokkiens in EACH SEA country!

Surprise! Surpise! Hokkiens are majority only in Singapore, mudland, Indonesia and Philippines.

Hokkiens are very small or small minority in Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand!

If you divide the figures among the Malaysian states, the Hokkiens are mostly at the former Straits Settlements: Penang, Malacca and Singapore (and at JB).

So although Hokkiens are largest in terms of population number and are the majority in SEA as a whole, we are not majority in each SEA country ok?

To put things in perspective, for example there are more Teochews in Thailand than there are Chinese in Singapore according to the table.
And there are more Hakkas in mudland Thailand and Indonesia together than there are Chinese in Singapore.

If you divide the figures among the Malaysian states, the Hokkiens are mostly at the former Straits Settlements: Penang, Malacca and Singapore (and at JB).
No lah plenty of Hokkiens in Selangor aka KL.

And there are more Hakkas in mudland Thailand and Indonesia together than there are Chinese in Singapore.
And the number of Hakkas in mudland is almost the same as the number of Hokkiens in Singapore.

And the number of Hakkas in Indonesia is 26% more than Hokkiens in Singapore!

Cantonese and Hakkas made up whopping 40% of m&d chinese population!
In contrast, Spore only 23%. So who still dare to say mudland and Spore Chinese all the same? Chinese population structure already SO DIFFERENT!

So KL biggest canto city outside of china? Like melbourne biggest greek city outside of greece?
