Migration into Singapore

As so many of us wanted to go overseas, there are many people wanted to come to Singapore. People from China, India, etc.. are flying in here to earn the Singapore Dollars. (many a times, we gladly give....)

The different in living standards are sooooo much that they will even get ah long loan just to apply to Singapore to work. Of course there are the other side of the spectrum where they are very rich and wanted to get out of their countries to a safe haven.

Other countries citizen want to come here and settle down.

Which Western country awards more points for an applicant with a Singapore passport compared to ... say a Chinese or Indian passport when it comes to the skilled or business migration categories?

the u.s. rely on the quota system, on a per country basis. since there are too many applicants from china and india jamming their respective quota-limits, it is more prudent for them to apply with passports from countries with shorter lines and friendlier visa-waiver agreements with the u.s. the u.s. lately has seen a surge in applications from countries like panama, the bahamas, dominican republic, etc. most of these applicants are not originally from the caribbean, but from china. where ever there is a loophole, the chinese and indians will find it.

Singapore for 2-3 years and hello, US/Australia/Canada/UK after that. Then they will join us singgies who migrated to these same countries as PRs.
