The police are investigating a case of an e-scooter rider who allegedly hit a child along Orchard Road on Friday evening (Apr 19).

Several Stomp contributors alerted Stomp to a video of the confrontation between the rider and the child's father that was posted to Complaint Singapore's Facebook group page.

In the video, a group of women are seen tending to a child as his father hurls vulgarities at the e-scooter rider.

According to the post, the father of the kid had allegedly punched the rider after he struck his son.

It added that the rider was a Deliveroo delivery guy.

A woman is holding on to the man, trying to calm him down and to prevent him from going over to the rider.

At one point she even covers his mouth with her hand.

The delivery guy shouts at the father and says that he should have been looking out for his kid to which the father replies, "F*** you!"

Some of the kids are hyperactive and they... shall we say... walk in unpredictable, erratic patterns. They are a hazard to even pedestrians.

Dear parents, mind your brats when you take them outside. Thank you.

Father also stress from job insecurity from Indian fake degree FTs and pressure from amdk boss. On the phone replying emails after work Neglect the kid.

Catching fish in rivers and catching spiders from the bushes are much better than playgrounds, likewise, climbing coconut trees to harvest fresh coconuts can be a thrilling climb for any adrenaline junkie :biggrin::biggrin:
Those were the days. But the weather was cooler. We can go out in the afternoon and nothing happens. Currently, its like a oven in the daytime.i notice weather changed drastically in 1997. That was the year waking up in the morning became hotter.

Why is the Deliveroo delivery guy a chink? If he were a m&d, there would be no problem because the angry m&d would forgive him on the spot. Having said that, respect for the angry m&d for not bashing up the chink and for the minah who was holding him back.

heat in the streets of sg increases as a result of more asphalt and pavements plus the exhaust from vehicles baking them non-stop. if you walk on a patch of grass or dirt you don’t feel as much heat as you walk on the streets. worse is when a truck or bus passes by. the exhaust can blast you with an additional 6.9 degree c of heat. it hits the asphalt, heats it up, and is reflected to you like you’re staring at a mirror. the sun also heats up the streets, the heat is retained in the asphalt and some rays get reflected to pedestrians. price to pay for being in an asphalt jungle. that’s why when it rains in sg the steam from the streets gives you a smell.

Also, lots of trees (secondary forests) being cut down. Even grass fields are not spared.
