Lying is always the reason behind every ruined relationship.
Just like in romantic movies or novels there are situations where characters always have to put an effort into bringing the spark back. However, we all know that life isn't like the movies. In reality, once your trust has been broken, you no longer know if that person can still be relied upon.
Earlier this month, an unnamed newlywed woman shared her story on Reddit. In the said post, she mentioned that her husband didn't want to have sex with her before marriage because he was "old fashioned like that." But during their honeymoon, she discovered that her husband has a micropenis.
In an article published by Mirror, the husband felt humiliated after he had found the post. Afraid to become a laughingstock, he is now threatening to divorce and sue his wife.
AITA because my husband saw my post and says he wants to leave me and sue me? Says he wants an annulment and is considering suing me for defamation of character.
He says it's only a matter of time before someone leaks his name. He saw the post through an old friend of his who knew he had a micropenis and saw on his FB that he had just gotten married. He doesn't know who else the guy has told to link him to it. I feel like I am the asshole. He is crushed that I posted about him.
*update to original post: I confronted him last week about intentionally keeping this from me and he said he was sure I would leave him if I knew about the size prior to the wedding. And that he wanted to talk before the wedding but feared it being called off because of his micropenis and said if both families found out/gossiped about it he would be crushed. Which is basically what I did with the entire world via reddit, but he didn't know this until last night because I never told him that I posted on reddit when we talked.
While some netizens made fun of the couple's case, a Redditor pointed out that the issue wasn't just about the guy's micropenis. The real problem here was the guy's dishonesty.

I agree with this. He admitted that she might not want to marry him if she knew, but that was 100% her decision to make if it it was important to her. And he lied about not wanting to have sex before marriage because he was “old fashioned”- that’s a huge red flag. I think OP should see this as a sign that her husband is not an honest guy. I wouldn’t want to stay married to him, small penis notwithstanding.
