Malaysia's Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration is having a hard time keeping up with its election promises.

Stuck with a RM1 trillion (S$330 billion) debt pile and populist pledges, the seven-month-old government recently backtracked on a promise to allow workers who took study loans from the government to defer payments if they earn below RM4,000 a month.

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation, known by its Malay acronym PTPTN, is tasked with helping Malaysians finance tertiary education. Just this month, it irked thousands of borrowers after announcing that a Cabinet-approved mandatory salary reduction scheme would come into effect next month.

You see you see? Everyone go uni who can get job? Tell the chinks not to study so much, come Singapore many work for yous.

Jiuhu has a bloated civil service, which include tens of thousands of imams, clerics, mosque workers, all of whom contributed nothing positive to the jiuhu society or economy. Just a huge drain on the jiuhu treasury which otherwise could be better use to pay down their national debt and balance their books.

IQ and Race ... so called graduates standards compared with who, Harvard or Standford? Their graduates can’t even hold a candle again our ITE students. Stop spending money on them, better to open more technical training centres instead.

Here our foreign scholars even better. Get cert run road. Serve your head

Lol that’s what umno should have done long time ago indeed.

Those who hutang the Malaysian government are m&ds and so-called scholars. The real ones with scholastic achievements went on fathers' scholarships or Asean scholarships or by other means other than sponsored by the Malaysian government. They do not owe the government anything.

Most of jiuhu graduates are from islamic colleges and madrassahs. But international standards, a graduate from islamic studies is no graduate at all. Learning in school how to persecute non-believers and wage jihad against them doesn't count as education.

In a nutshell, not a single islamic 'scholar' is considered educated by modern standards. An average high school graduate is considered better educated than any imam anywhere in the world.

My impression is this loan is for all Malaysians studying higher education. That time in the bus also heard two m&d Indians working in Spore talking about them taking this loan for their polytechnic study.

This is a quick check of their criteria on income lol:

This is another crystal clear manifestation of ccb Malaysians being cheap Charlie thieves. Got money to go tour and eat restaurants- at takeaway price LOL - but no money to pay student loan.
