Meritocracy is not only toxic..it is bull shit...it is who you know, will get you where you want to be...& in many cases, a head start & in some...a spot just for you only.

That is why I say Meritocracy is bullshit, there was a time in my life & still I can...if I want work, I just pick up the phone, call " you know who, & get you know what work". If I go by the meritocracy route...I will still get there, by luck I will get where I want to be & what I want to be paid...but in reality, you " know who" gets you to " you know whre" & chances are you "screw up ", you rarely gets the boot. One may be farmed in same organisation doing some routine work, earning the same fat salries, with the same benefits & bonuses...can you can this meriticracry.

Meritocracy is a term coined to fool, some of the people (70%) but not all the people (30%) , all the time, not some of the time.

He came from the rear part of Singapore too, he was, is he? the son of Punggol....that is the back port of Singapore. In Chinese that is the rear port...the front is harbour front. Don't forget, he come as a bargain too...he was making $xx,xxx,xxx annually looking at the rear, now facing front he makes only $x,xxx,xxx only.
