11 tanjong katong road. i go there for the soi ju yi (fish slices in spicy broth) at the paradise dynasty restaurant. jiak liao lao sai. shiok.

Fandi Mona.... no now..Afandi Hawa & Family Mee Rebus



I use to travel from my place in Yishun to Haig Road just to have my favourite Mee Rebus fits.The only stall I thought,which was worth my trip to have a bowl of mee rebus.

The food centre closed for renovation...Eagerly waited,when the renovation will be over.Make a few trips,just to see if the stalls were opened.Waited close to a year,to have my favourite Mee Rebus.

The renovation was over,went very eagerly to eat my favourite Mee Rebus.Fandi Mona was gone now with new name and new look,Afandi Hawa & Family Mee Rebus.The man (the owner) was there,the lady who usually does the mee rebus and the other stuffs inside was not there,a different lady is now doing it.


Well now back to the Mee Rebus.I still can taste,Fandi Mona's mee rebus,the stock in the gravy, was very robust,full of flavours,with every mouth full,the exciting flavours bursts in the mouth.
Now Afandi Hawa & Family,well what can I say,from the above comments,it should easy what's expected next.
The gravy was good thick,smooth,nice.
But it did not have the powerful robust flavours that brought me back to this stall for my mee rebus fits.
I went there twice,after a month from my visit and yesterday to see,if the old robust flavours came back.....Fandi Mona is gone.......
