CRACKS CAUSED BY WATER ACCUMULATED DUE TO HEAVY RAIN: LTA

In a media statement on Friday evening, the LTA said that the cracks were caused by water that had accumulated at the roadside due to heavy rain and were not due to nearby construction works.

I was sleeping on the upper bunk bed and woke up in the middle of the night and saw a full smart uniform man with a Japanese soldier like jockey cap walking in the middle aisle .. I beo him with my eyes half open to see if it was platoon sergeant or not .. it wasn't ... Damn. It was 3.30am!

Recruit Arumugam is a chap that I will never forget ... He is a cleanliness freak who must wash his hands tens of times a day until he has skin problem! Nice Indian chap but sibei weirdo! Lol

Arumugam was not the usual loud mouth bullshitter Indian. He was sort of a softie who couldn't do more than 1 chin up. A blur chap who you do not want to be near when he is pulling off the pin of the live grenade. Nor you want to be in his detail when having CTSS because he would most likely not point his M16 to the front when he encountered IA.

Many times at night around 11pm after lights off, he was still in the toilet washing his uniform! God knows why he needed to wash so long or why he had so much laundry.

But having said all these, he was a nice chap. We are all made differently and have different idiosyncrasies. Maybe regimental life wasn't suited for him. He could be a big time CEO now, pursuing his strengths and passion.

A nice dinner with my ex in laws at East Ocean Taka just now. They have aged. I still address them as father and mother and they didn't mind, though they said I shouldn't. My ex wife is their only child and now migrated to UK with her AMDK husband, so they don't get to see her that often. I asked them why don't they spend a few months there as it's summer now and it wouldn't be that cold for them. They said they prefer to be here in Sgp as their friends and relatives are still here. Well, I guess I should have more dinners with them in future.

Need to have my fun with give tonight. ... My Atb has just reached home safely in Shanghai (from Beijing) via 6pm HSR. Tomorrow she's off to Hangzhou and I guess she will be all worn out at the rate she pushes herself ... Lol
