That is what they are good at ( the PAP) distracting the real issues of escalating costs. They are adding new taxes or increasing existing taxes; in the name of "helping the poor", "providing for future" & all sorts of 'sales talk'. Have we forgotten already, so soon!...we are already paying a 15% increase in water charges & another 15% this year. They will be, in 2020, increase GST by another 2% & sales taxes from buying things off the internet. Cow$8 have already hinted that, transportation costs will go up..soon!..but the blame will passed to the "pass the costs" (PTC) committee. Dare the PTC go against the grain & say..." no"?....the same principle applies to Civil Servants.
