SINGAPORE - The SMRT train collision on Wednesday morning (Nov 15), which saw 25 people injured, was the second such incident in the MRT's 30-year history. In August 1993, a damaged rubber ring set off a chain of events that led to the collision between two trains at Clementi MRT station, leaving about 160 passengers injured. The ring broke, causing 50 litres of oil to drip onto the tracks from a locomotive doing maintenance during non-passenger hours.

Just a very light touch as far as I can see. Only 23 passengers noticed the contact. The rest did not feel a thing.

strange reporting again. ???

.

SINGAPORE - Two commuters sustained injuries that were categorised as “major emergencies” - and another 23 people were injured - when a stalled SMRT train was hit from behind by another one at Joo Koon MRT. The collision took place around 8am on Wednesday (Nov 15) during the morning peak hour when trains are usually packed. The first train had stalled as it entered Joo Koon MRT. The incident led to major delays on the East-West Line. At the same time, the Circle Line was hit by a major disruption said to have been caused by a door fault.

I takel my words back and apologize vehemently - this is not a collision, officially this is only a “CONTACT” between trains.

Forum moderators please delete this thread before I get sued.
is ok, it's just a fender-bender contact :(
must be a gay train. the gay movement has infiltrated everywhere including non-human objects.
is ok, it's just a bum(per)-humper contact

Of course you are wrong. When train is crowded, very frequently will contact with another person, let alone the train. Do you bang into someone else’s head? If not it is no collision. Reflect and repent for spreading fake new.

Sorry hor in Singapore I’m just another peasant taking MRT hor. Where got so rich can afford a car in Singapore?

Fortunately I'm in Bkk and enjoying the efficient MRT service.
Efficient, good & cheap : )

I notice they've installed elevators at the MRT stations. Kudos to the Thai's for making it easier for the old, those carrying bags, and the tired.
