i feel that queueing is an aspect of our local food culture. Many stall owners intentionally engineer a queue at their stalls by slowing down when the wait list is shorter.

Horrible food like punggol lasi lemak tastes better after a long queue.

Chinese food needs MSG to bring out the favour. You cannot deny that.

This is chink food? This common sinkie chinkie cuisine of chup chai png is nothing but pigswill. I certainly do not consider this as chinese food.

I sometimes eat this sort of teo chew pomfret. But I only do so at home or at a respectable chink restaurant.

I suppose kurau is milkfish? Got many bones, grassloots and RC people might choke on them if u believe in retribution.

Many years ago, I was helping out a group of cyclists distributing stuff to needy in the north. (I could not cycle) I saw for myself the RC people put aside high-valued milo tins for themselves (fuck them) and feasting on catered food. When i started working, i realized it's the same every where, now the management of the sports council paid themselves more than the athletes, the management of religious groups & charities paid themselves highly at the expense of the needy.....

So people like Mr John Tan should take fish with less bones such as pomfret, soon hock or grouper.

Why should the likes of Schooling and Quah be paid more than the management of the sports council? Important people like us are essential and irreplaceable as compared to the hundreds of sportsmen training hard so that they can one day be paid millions to endorse sporting gear.
