Serious Jobless single mum forced to vacate HDB rental flat for rental default of $2000

Transitioning, a welfare organisation dedicated to helping unemployed PMETs, highlighted the plight of a single mother who is being evicted from her rental flat for default on arrears. The woman who lives in Sengkang, said that she had not paid her rent for the past ten months because her ex-husband had not been paying her maintenance money promptly.

The woman who has two kids, sought help from the welfare organisation to mitigate her predicament. HDB had asked her to settle the full outstanding arrears of $2000 before 31st March. It served her notice to vacate her rental unit on 31st March if she failed to do so. She claimed that her family has got nowhere else to go if they were evicted – “no relatives and friends to help”.

The former, have a very high rate of divorce cases that leave the wives with kids & abscond when paying for maintenance...not that the rest of the races don't have cases like that. They have a very high rate of their type of woman, who divorce with kids, marry again, have kids & divorce again...maybe their "bun"..is panas & pedas!

Can join the "health services"...." hand grease the pole" make $50, "blow the flute" another $50...plus "pole dancing"...a 45 mins work, can make $200+ approximate...6 hrs work....$1,200, say less "payment to boss"..can make $800 a day....less 1 week for "cave repairs"...can cover more than the rental owing... this woman, must be damn lazy or ..... ??

Really sad .... even foreign permanent squatters are allowed to rent flats from HDB while natives have to give up theirs due to financial difficulties.... what kind of Govt that looks after foreign aliens better than its own natives?

If she into " health services", can she apply for workfare & workfuture to upgrade her skills...her employer, can apply for grant, for they are employing X number of locals in order to employ X times...for FT...ha ha ha
