But this election is different. Almost all the traditionally blue rust belt states turned Red. Because of Trump's promises and people are sick of the globalist bullshit of democrats. Democrats were in charge the past eight years and things have not gotten better people know that they ain't dumb it's nothing to do with skin color.
Blacks are only centered in Detroit metro. Not the other metros and suburbs and vast country of MI where white dominate.
Also, there are also many blacks who are turned to vote Trump this time. I know because I know them.

Going forward, the Democrats have a lot of soul-searching to do. It will be the end of the Clinton era (if/when she loses tonight), which will be good for the future of the Democratic Party, giving room for new blood (new democrats) to lead the D party.

The truth is some of the votes that Trump won this time are from those pro-Bernie Democrats who protested against Clinton being the Democratic nominee.

I have a feeling that when the final results are analyzed, it will (maybe?) show a significant increase in third party votes, votes which would traditionally have gone to the Democratic Party, resulting in a loss for Clinton against Trump.

Most of the Fortune 500 companies are actually from and incorporated in all parts of the country not the coast. TX especially has more Fortune 500 companies than CA. A huge company like Walmart top 2-3 largest in the USA from Arkansas. Monsanto from Missouri. Super rich Koch industries from Kansas.

The USA is not like developing country like in Asia. Where the economy is concentrated in one or two cities. China is like that because she's still developing. But only China has the size and potential to rival USA one day. No one else does. China will get there if nothing bad derails her progress let's see. Yes, therein lies the danger in running a campaign too heavily reliant on polls. It'll be back to the drawing board for Clinton & team ... maybe a revamp of how a presidential campaign ought to be run is needed. Interestingly, the Clinton campaign had the support of the Obamas, Biden, etc while Trump was essentially isolated by his own party (Bush even cast a blank vote).
