Chitchat Wah! Taxpayers paid for Private Jets terminal?

A new two-storey passenger terminal, which will be big enough to serve up to 700,000 passengers a year, will open at Seletar Airport at the end of 2018.

Are we expecting 700k passengers to use this new airport?

I have used this airport in the past. It is really small and definitely could do with a major upgrade. Right now, its only fit for those commuter prop planes like ATR 72 and Q400, and of course private planes. There is no skybridge, and very basic facilities. The worse thing is its out in the ulu area. If they can put in a skybridge, i think it will help attract some smaller jets in the B737 category, the runway can support it. But i think they just want to shift prop plane ops over to seletar. If that is the case, they should not waste money upgrading.
