Philippines has traditionally been an USA ally.

Relationships are rocky now.

Will Duterte break alliance with USA?

corruption
I believe Duterte himself received billions of dollars from china

Duterte calls Obama a four letter word.

I wonder what he will call Hillary.

See his bloody face also want to puke. Now that he's sucking up to the commie Chinks and Russians, I'd like to see how his subordinates will react? Their military is definitely not in favor of his present affiliation with the 2 commie countries. A coup could be in the making.

Blame this on fidle ramos who terminated US lease of subic naval base and clark airbase. Now duterte made him envoy to discuss with china as punishment.

Do u wish Philippines to continue as USA' running dog? I applaud Duterte for standing up to USA

I didn't know that Philippines was traditionally a USA ally. They were brothers-in-arms for which wars? WW2 doesn't count since pinoyland was USA's colony.

I only know that the pinoy government made a nice sum of money renting out pubic bay base to the US military.

The Philippines is a strategic non-Nato ally of the usa

The philippines has a Mutual Defence Treaty with the USA. It has a Visiting forces Agreement and carries out many joint exercises with the USA. Philippines is considered one of the strongest ally of USA in Asia

Doesn't seem like a strong ally if their president didn't get a state dinner unlike our PM Lee. Treaties are worth jackshit in most unstable asiatic countries because a new government may simply tear up existing treaties or re-pivot.

A reliable ally is one who has send military forces to assist the US in a war. I don't think pinoyland has ever done that, so no, I don't consider the pinoys a strong US ally.

Stupid of the US to think otherwise as what pinoy trump is now telling US ; f*** off!
