Assailed by loud noise despite calls to NEA hotline

MY WIFE and I live in Kim Yam Road next to a condominium construction site called Martin Place Residences. For more than 12 months, I have regularly informed the National Environment Agency (NEA) hotline when the contractor's work causes loud noise after 7pm.

As yet, the contractor has not stopped. In fact, in the past week it has worked the entire night (Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31) using two bright spotlights and a generator making continuous noise. The first three days of this week, it worked after 7pm, causing loud noise even after I had informed NEA.

Has NEA done anything about it? Or does the contractor simply ignore NEA's warnings?

Why spend money on a hotline if nothing is done after residents alert NEA?
