Some pap bad policies are:

1. pap sets up businesses to compete with
2. pap ministers who do not accept responsibility and hide under the guise of not naming culprits under the "no blame culture"
3. pap's culture of cronyism and nepotism
4. pap increasing taxes and levies to try and solve problems
5. weak governance as shown in the recent AGO report
6. pap's neglect of poor, sick and aged
7. pap's crave with making money from Singaporeans
8. pap's tendency to sweep real problems under the carpet
9. pap's claim that it prefers to tackle problems privately away from public eye. really? or this another pap's ruse?
10. pap's refusal to acknowledge the existence of problems but tries to explain problems away as peoples' wrong perceptions, eg cardboard collectors doing it for exercise rather than out of poverty

It's actually the other way round. Singaporeans are lazy and unmotivated and their numbers are diminishing.

Motivated and hardworking immigrants are flooding in.

Singapore can only become better and better as a result.

yes...good and qualified singaporeans who are wanted by other countries are leaving.

pap is unable to attract good migrants from 1st world countries and only PRCs, Indians, Maynmarese, Vietnamese and Filipinos are flocking to SG. These are migrants not many countries want. Attracting such people is no feather in the cap.

Agree...LHL is the cause of SG's decline. His policies are short sighted and atrocious. He is so weak that he has to surround himself with weak ministers eg LSS, VB, Shanmugum, TCH, LHK, GKK, KBW, Iswaran. None of the ministers dare speak the truth.

The number of screw-ups in Singapore are minuscule compared to other countries. Take NZ for example the crime rate is through the roof, the drug problem is destroying hundreds of thousands of families and the welfare system is crippling the country's growth.

NZ has been waiting 30 years for an MRT system and it still has not happened because the country has got no money to fund the construction. It has a pathetic rail system that only covers a small section of the sprawling city of Auckland and it breaks down 10 times more often than the MRT system in Singapore.

Singaporeans don't know how lucky they are till they end up living somewhere else. I have learned that the hard way. I used to think Singapore was crap until I moved here. Now I realise just how wonderful the country is.

Are you kidding me they're letting in all sorts of trash.... drug dealers from China, crooked politicians fleeing prosecution plus thousands of useless, disease ridden muslim refugees with terrorist cells embedded in the numbers.

Compared to the trash that NZ, OZ and the USA get Singapore's immigrants are absolute angels.

Don't know about NZ because my personal experience is more with Canada.
Have many friends & relatives who are now citizens of Australia, Canada, & USA. Don't believe the PAP propaganda because those who left don't have any regrets. One of the kids of these ex-Sporeans did return to take up a scholarship but did so because the scholarship was free without a bond. Now that he's completed his masters degree he's returned home.

In these countries it is up to you, what you make of life. My observation of those who left Spore is that they have at least 2+ kids & look much healthier than those who stayed in Spore e.g. have less white hair & don't look as haggard as their spore counterparts.

As for an MRT system in NZ, cars are probably cheaper & more flexible if the population is spread out. In Spore the reason why they are building so many MRT stations is because they are projecting a population of 10+ million. They can also recoup the cost because there is a monopoly on public transport. Unlikely you can do so in NZ because of the alternatives available.

I once asked a Canadian official why it took so long to get "Landed status" approval. It can take 2 or more years

I was told that they have to vet each & every applicant. Other than checking the medical background, they also do criminal checking to weed out the criminals
They also have a heavy workload with millions of prospective applicants. Compared to Spore where the PAP authorities rarely do any background checks.
