I admit I am so small and insignificant when compared to the earth.
If you include "flat" before "earth", I would wholeheartedly agree with you!

Why is it that you can not fly direct from Perth to Buenos Aires? The most direct route would actually take you right over the South Pole of Antartica, but as you will find out, no commercial flights are allowed to fly over the great Southern Expanse. They are allowed to fly over the North Pole, and regularly do when going from Canada to Europe - but why not for the Southern part of our Globe?

If our earth were really flat...you could go up to the top of MBS and aim your cheapo telescope in the direction of LA or New York you could probably catch a glimpse of your fav Hollywood stars fucking their brains out.

Not true..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_route
Few airlines fly between cities having a great circle route over Antarctica. Direct flights between South Africa and New Zealand would overfly Antarctica, but no airline has scheduled such flights. LAN Airlines flies nonstop between Auckland, Sydney and Santiago, Air New Zealand flies nonstop between Auckland and Buenos Aires starting December 1 2015, and Qantas flies nonstop between Sydney and Santiago, the most southerly polar route. Depending on winds, these reach 55 degrees south latitude, but other times 71 degrees, which is enough to cross the polar ice cap.[19][better source needed]
Depending on the winds, the Qantas flight QF 63 from Sydney to Johannesburg sometimes flies over the Antarctic Circle to latitude 71 degrees as well and allowing views of the icecap.[20]

@flatearther, this is fun. I enjoy the argument with you:p but I have decided to see your point and let you win.
Many thanks to you too, for saving me the trouble of rebutting the following three posts of yours! :p
May I also ask you to vote in the poll to prove that you mean what you say?

1) If the earth was spherical, the angular distance from the equator will increase if you move up or down. If the earth was flat, there would be no such thing called angular distance. Go search the web for the definition of latitude.

2) The sun burns at 5500 degrees celsius. The 30 degrees difference between summer and winter is nothing, and I won't be surprised if a 'few' million kilometers will make that difference.

3) From the web: 'The first men to reach the Geographic South Pole were the Norwegian Roald Amundsen and his party on December 14, 1911.' Also from the web: South pole travel guides bringing tourists to visit the south pole. If you want, you can find someone lucky enough to travel to the south pole, and ask them if it is an elongated wall surrounding the circumference of the earth. Or even better, see for yourself when you're on a plane flying there. In fact the reason why the spherical earth theory holds is because if you measure the shapes and calculate the landmass of each country, you find that they will not add up if the earth were to be flat instead.
'That's because the train is moving and your body is moving at the same speed, while it's standing.' So you admit relativity is a thing. Since relativity is a thing, it wouldn't matter if the earth was spinning or not because we are measuring the speed of the planes relative to the earth.

The train's 'atmosphere' is not solid either, but you still land on the same spot when you jump. The time spent in the air does not matter as well because if you had a helicopter and flew directly upwards, then went back down, you will still land on the same spot relative to the earth. With a sphere Earth, when a plane flies straight, you will eventually come back to the same spot no matter what direction you fly in. But with a flat earth, that won't happen.
Ok before I let others take over the argument with you, I would like to say that we have established the Earth being circular. Meaning, I say it is a sphere while you say it is flat, but we both agree it is circular. Now, if it is flat, then what is the height? If I dig deep enough, would i reach the end of that height and come out the other side? Circular and flat, it has a circumference and a height. Like a cylinder.
But I will reply to the above three posts of yours with another video:

Are you sure that proves that planes have flown over the "South Pole" (i.e. 90 degrees latitude)?
All those flights mentioned in that wiki article hardly flew over Antarctica, let alone the "South Pole":

3] often we hear news about human activities on the north pole , setting up of base camps , installation of scientific equipment ,
or some brave soul wanting to walk to the centre of the pole .
have you heard of any such thing happening on the south pole ?
None , right ? That's because the south pole is actually a vertical wall on the circumference of the circle flat earth.

go search the web and read comments of people who try to circumambulate the south pole.

Let say the Earth is flat. Let say the Earth is round and flat. Let say there is North, South, East and West of Earth. Let say the Sun goes round in circles above the Earth.

Now the problem is, the Sun will not rise from the East and set in the West for every countries anymore, base on this theory.

why not ?

did you draw a circle or a square to represent the flat earth ?
with the centre of the above circle or square , draw 3 concentric circles .
middle circle representing the equator , one represents the tropic of carpricorn and one the tropic of cancer.

all countries have their north pointing towards the centre of your drawing.
now visualise the sun on the equator going round in a clockwise movement.
can you now see sun rise on the east and set on the west ?

I'll wait patiently for you to slowly change your mind, before finally voting "Yes". :p

No, sunrise will still be in the East and sunset will still be in the West, but the mid-day sun will not always hang directly/vertically above you when you look up at the sun at noon; it will be hanging at different angles from you throughout the year, which is a fact that you can see for yourself, even in Singapore, which is located almost exactly on the equator.

by the way , don't imagine that flat earth means something thin like a pancake.
It's depth could be more than 100000 ft.
Also the icy wall at the circumference (or perimeter ) is 150ft to 200 over ft tall ,with a breath of few thousand ft.

When people said they flew over the south pole or had explored it , what they did was just touching less than 0.1% of the outer
area.
it is like you walks around the fringe of a cluster of HDB flats and then boasts that you been there and seen it.

Yes, I would totally agree IF such a telescope exists, which would not be cheap at all.
But before that, you would have to be standing on top of a ridiculously tall building or mountain, not just any tall building in Singapore:

Waoh this idea, good man. Instead of saying North and South at top and bottom of Earth, now North is at centre and there is no South. Very innovative and creative. I see what you mean now. Hmm..then how do we get eclipse? What is keeping the Sun above flat Earth?
