全岛只剩狮城大厦店面

老字号百货公司然利直（John Little）的裕廊坊分店将在7月底结束营业。也就是说，这家拥有171年历史的百货公司在短短一年半里，从四家分店凋零至一家，日后将只剩下狮城大厦的店面。

分析师表示，百货公司如今面对的逆风比一般零售业者更大，即使然利直完全走入历史，他们也不会感到太惊讶。

然利直由迪拜零售业集团雅富腾（Al-Futtaim）掌控的罗敏申集团（Robinsons）管理。集团除了营运然利直和罗敏申百货商店，也拥有马莎（Marks & Spencer）百货品牌特许经营权。

Digress on JL. That bit on retailers in washing money is a known fact so not new.
How many small shops in malls you see -with hardly any customers, and bored staff?
One shoe shop (in Wheelock upper floors, awhile back) just had enough inventory for quick stock count within 15 mins
