OTA updates are the responsibility of carriers..

Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 3 is among the devices that will no longer receive official updates. Samsung is a hardware company. They make $ selling HW. Same with other companies. The exception is Apple Computer.

So no one should be surprised that the after sales support for firmware updates is poor.
