Still using KitKat 4.4.4 :eek:
Stuck two versions of Android behind when Marshmallow 6.0.1 is already out in December 2015. Moreover this model is not old. :D

Of course. It is not a toaster. You cannot expect it to still work after 50 years. How to make money like that?
 


Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 3 is among the devices that will no longer receive official updates. Of course, that doesn’t mean the latest Android updates can’t smoothly run on the mentioned device; it is just a marketing decision that’s not based on the Note 3 performances. So, of course, Android 6.0 Marshmallow can smoothly run on the Galaxy Note 3, so why not enjoying the same firmware? If you do want that, then you will have to complete a dedicated update procedure which will be explained during the following guidelines.

Samsung is a hardware company. They make $ selling HW. Same with other companies. The exception is Apple Computer.

So no one should be surprised that the after sales support for firmware updates is poor.
