17 conveyed to hospital after 2 buses crash at Pasir Ris Dr 1

17 people were conveyed to the hospital after two buses collided at Pasir Ris Drive 1 at 3.40pm today (Apr 17).

An*SCDF*spokesman*said in a statement:

"SCDF*was alerted to an accident between two*buses at*Pasir*Ris Drive 1 at about 3.40pm, and conveyed 17 casualties to CGH with various minor injuries in two*ambulances and*one*support vehicle."
An accident involving two buses occurred today (April 17) at around 4pm at Pasir Ris Drive 1, near Block 515.

Stomper*Judy*heard a loud bang before looking out her window to see what had happened.

Said the Stomper:

"Two ambulances arrived on the scene and took three passengers to hospital.

"I saw one woman had a sprained neck as she could not move it and a man had cut his head as he held a tissue to it before paramedics arrived and tended to his wound."

As of 5pm, the two buses were still at the scene of the accident.

Stomp has contacted the authorities for more information.
