The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life, oh how they fill my eyes
The greetings of people in trouble
Reflections of my life, oh how they fill my mind

All my sorrow, sad tomorrow
Take me back to my old home
All my cryin', feel I'm dyin', dyin'
Take me back, to my old home

I'm changin', arrangin', I'm changin'
I'm changin' everything, ah everything around me
The world is a bad place, a bad place
A terrible place to live, oh but I don't wanna die

All my sorrow, sad tomorrow
Take me back to my old home
All my cryin', feel I'm dyin', dyin'
Take me back, to my old home

That song by Beyond is quite good and I'm a fan of certain Hong Kong films; but ironically, I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Cantopop. :o

However, I like certain Cantopop songs, but most of them seem to be from some of my favourite Hong Kong films. :o

And many of them are sung by Leslie Cheung, such as:

This was the time when the U S of A was fighting in Vietnam, I have a classmate who lived at the Northern part of Singapore, near to Naval Base. On a certain day of the week or whenever the winds blow strong, one can receive..."Voice of America from Vietnam"....& the opening bar of the song, so familiar will be heard...." the changing of sunlight to moonlight....all my sorrows sad tomorrow.....take me back, to my old home"...Reflection of My Life.....it had been one of my favourite song then & still now...

Reflection Of My Life, was one of the most played song from VOA Vietnam & there were others...

No thank you, I much prefer to listen to opera music .........

The Barber of Seville, or The Futile Precaution (Italian: Il barbiere di Siviglia, ossia L'inutile precauzione [il barˈbjɛːre di siˈviʎʎa osˈsiːa l iˈnuːtile prekautˈtsjoːne]) is an opera buffa in two acts by Gioachino Rossini with an Italian libretto by Cesare Sterbini. The libretto was based on Pierre Beaumarchais's French comedy Le Barbier de Séville (1775). The première of Rossini's opera (under the title Almaviva, o sia L'inutile precauzione) took place on 20 February 1816 at the Teatro Argentina, Rome.[1]

Rossini's Barber has proven to be one of the greatest masterpieces of comedy within music, and has been described as the opera buffa of all "opere buffe". Even after two hundred years, it remains a popular work.[2]

A parody of the overture sounds like this ...........

If you like opera music, this is one of the bestest. ;)

Yes, one of the bestest for Nessun Dorma, but not the bestest, which is this one .........

Luciano Pavarotti said he modeled himself after Di Stefano, a fact that gained much attention after Pavarotti's death in September 2007. He was also the tenor who most inspired José Carreras.

When I'm in the mood for old European music, I also don't mind opera music, but I usually prefer Baroque music, such as Handel's:

on which the UEFA Champions League theme song is based:

Good song. Nice acoustic rhythm guitar. Good bass lines and a sweet guitar solo. Very tight ensemble . But never heard anything from them after this.
Actually, with one major hit, you can retire.

Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones read a part of Adonais at the Brian Jones memorial concert at London's Hyde Park on 5 July 1969. Jones, founder and guitarist of the Stones, had drowned 3 July 1969 in his swimming pool. Before an audience estimated at 250,000 to 300,000, Jagger read the following verses from Adonais:[6]

Peace, peace! he is not dead, he doth not sleep
He hath awakened from the dream of life
'Tis we, who lost in stormy visions, keep
With phantoms an unprofitable strife,
And in mad trance, strike with our spirit's knife
Invulnerable nothings. — We decay
Like corpses in a charnel; fear and grief
Convulse us and consume us day by day,
And cold hopes swarm like worms within our living clay.

The One remains, the many change and pass;
Heaven's light forever shines, Earth's shadows fly;
Life, like a dome of many-coloured glass,
Stains the white radiance of Eternity,
Until Death tramples it to fragments. — Die,
If thou wouldst be with that which thou dost seek!
Follow where all is fled!

Some Baroque pieces can put me to sleep ....... literally ....... no need sleeping pills .......

Major hit, popular in KTVs (bit evergreen?) ...with great bass intro.:p

Overshadowed other hits (same album) like Baby Make It Soon
