And why are there so many tertiary educated Singaporeans driving taxis. Why are we second class citizens in our own country. Why did NTUC who is supposed to protect the rice bowl of Singaporean workers hire Amy Cheong, an Australian citizen as Asst Director for a job that many unemployed and better qualified Singaporeans can do. What is the message that you are sending to foreigners. That they can get the job but are confident enough to abuse the locals and their culture. Whats is so special about her skills and qualifications.
7. Housing - Are Singaporeans confident that their children can afford to buy a home when it is their time. What is the Govt's 25 year outlook for this important sector. How many are actually renting their HDB flats to survive. Why are foreigners allowed to control the private housing market that is not classified a landed property or GCB.
