Engraving service for timepieces in Singapore

Apparently shops that provide engraving service for pens don't provide similar service for watches. I would have thought they used the same machine.

I wanted to buy a pair of watches as gifts, but the shop owner could not pinpoint me to anywhere in Singapore that could provide such a service.

Has anyone had any experience before ? And where would be the best section of the watch to have names engraved ? Back of the casing ? Or the clasp on the bracelets ?

Have you tried the watch shops at Bras Basah Complex? the ones that sells Mont Blanc etc??

I was going to patronize the shop next to it. If the neighboring shop is able to provide such a service, I wonder why the shopowner is oblivious to it.

Normally any business that is located in CCK = Choa Chu Kang. There is only one type of engraving business that can flourish in CCK.
