It's called 'agreeing to disagree', the hallmark of a mature democracy.

What we have here is a PAP dictatorship, what the Western media call an 'illiberal' (or sham) democracy.

People who debate dun kill themselves. They have too much fighting spirits.

Only those who are helpless take the suicide routes.

That debate is not a normal debate .. it is a planned attack on Trump. and still shake hands and smile. i respect first world Ang Moh.

In the West, most if the time, it is a clash of ideas etc. seldom personal agst your opponent per se. over here, the reverse is almost always true.

Democracy is ultimately a contest of ideas. Here the side that loses the plot (more often than not the PAP) will resort to personal ad hominem attacks in an attempt to win the argument. If all else fails, there's always the defamation lawsuit or contempt of court to fall back on.

Pity the 69.9% can't see through the charade.

On Super Tuesday, Donald Trump actually said that Hillary Clinton had done something very wrong, insinuated it was illegal and said she should not be allowed to be nominated at all.

But you can bet that after the election, the two will be shaking hands.

In Singapore, one party would have sued for defamation.

That is not a debate, that is an accusation and it is yet proven to be true.. so we have to wait till Trump becomes president and it is up to him to prove it.. If not, he will be sued.

i thought a debate and an accusation is a huge difference and be easily differentiated.

must act for the tv viewers, the bitter infighting to get the nomination intensifies, nothing new.

Why can't Singapore have live televised election debates for the electorate to decide? That's part of being a democracy.

Look like PAP candidates are scared of live televised debates with the opposition candidates, that why PAP have barred it in Singapore elections. Singapore is a pseudo democracy because the PAP controls election department and manipulates the boundaries and rules.

SPH and mediawhore are owned by the PAP and the incumbent, just like fox news is the unapologetic whore racist, kkk, homophobe, islamophobe, religious mouthpiece of the conservatard party.

Live debates are too tough for the PAP to handle. They are only good if you give them the questions beforehand. During the last GE, the char bor PAP MP was badly thrashed by some of the oppo leaders. That NSP guy was outstanding imo.

Chinks are naturally stingy, vindictive and authoritarian, even the ones who grew up in those liberal democracies. That is why we have so many tiger mums. It is in our blood man.

If your pathetic mother was a tiger mum and you turned into an insecure gay cub, don't make the same presumption for others.
