First, the Qing Dynasty is no more. China finally emerged from centuries of this medieval fuedal-dynastic ruling system and became a republic when the Qing Dynasty collapsed in 1912. The New China was led by Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, founder of modern China.

Second, the US Navy is not invading Asia, her presence was requested by some ASEAN countries to balance what is seen as China's growing military growth in the region. In this, the US it seems is more trusted than China.

China does not wish to disturb the US, she wants to sell cheaply made products to the Yanks! While at the same time, buying luxury and lifestyle goods from the West.
