Planning for trip during the upcoming CNY holiday.....destination Perth. 1 week trip......
Was told by a friend to visit to Pinnacle in Perth, what about other places of interest and hotels accommodation.

Plan for self drive trip....
Appreciate the recommendation.......Thanks!!

Margaret river

You must try the 'World Best' Apple Strudels. Google for it and you can find their address and contact. Is easy to get to too.

Call to order before you go collect. You won't regret it.

If you can, bring one back for me!

For 1 week, suggest you do self drive south west. Not only Pinnacles or Margaret River.
Did round trip with family once, easy and drop by several places including quaint towns like Albany, Augustus.
Also Cape Leeuwin where the Indian Ocean meets Southern Ocean

And back up Busselton, Bunbury and back to Perth. Of course, do Freemantle, the driverless train from Perth.

Further up, can go to Monkey Mia to see and touch dolphins.

perth is charming, but after like two weeks it gets really dull and boring as fuck.......its like in the middle of nowhere land full of bored restless teenagers and young adults that do nothing but drink and party all day,monday,tuesday,wednesday,thursday,friday,saturday,sunday....basically they just work minimum wage jobs and drink.the cbd is small as fuck u can, only a few blocks wide,u can like finish walking around it in 30 minutes,i guess not much financial business or office business goes on in perth, its like it started and some where along the way it just stopped, stunted growth, arrested development, like a 14 year old boy halfway thru puberty and stopped.the rest of the "city" is like some half forgotten western town.nice beautiful weather in autumn and winter though, once u seen australian winter and nature u never want to go back....

better to just take a plane to sydney or melbourne, thats where the real cities are at.real people, real culture, real atmosphere, amazing attractions and shops and restaurants and real hobos, sometimes the drunk and crazy hobos will entertain you with song and dance puppet shows,or play piano and sing or guitar.

Oh is it? Must go find out.

But I think it will still taste different.

The apples they used in Perth is just ripe from the tree, as in most Australian apples sold in Australia. So it has a very nice frangant and sweetness. SG's apples all imported and freight here so they are harvested before they actually ripen.

That shop in Perth, run by an old woman, their Apple strudel is just heavenly, at least to my taste. Crispy and real Apple frangant. Tried most Brand’s in SG. No fight, not even close.

And lose your trousers (with boxers to go) :p

Perth and WA is a sleepy place. Even reply to your good morning greetings, comes back tomorrow. That laid back ;)

Thanks all for the suggestion, will be arriving to Perth on morning via midnight flight.
Plan to stay a day in perth itself and rest till the following day to drive over to Albany, with stops in between.
Margaret river will be one of the stops.

Just thinking if there is any trains services from Perth to Albany too, as an alternative, in case do not want to drive.
