The Greater Khingan Range regiment training on Christmas Day in Heilongjiang, China. Temperature -43ºC.

Someday sinkees will have to train there when sinkapore becomes a province of China.
All no muscle and some bui bui?
Yes all wayang only.
If consistently train like this body shape won't be this way......even saf commandos are all lean, stout and with muscles though not your body builder types
mongoloids have evolved over tens of thousands of years to withstand the cold, with eye slits that are fatty, facial fat, chubby cheeks, flat nose, thick hair on the head, less hair on the torso and limbs, and baby fat all around - all these traits because survivors and sojourners hunt and herd elk for food, live in shelters made with elk skin, wear clothing made with elk hide and fur, make tools from elk bones and hair. since the torso and limbs are well covered with elk fur, there's no evolutionary need to retain body hair, and they start shedding it over the centuries. since only the eyes and lips are exposed to the extreme cold, they evolve to become what we see today among siberians, chinese, mongolians, koreans, japs.
It gets better. Training bare-bodied in -20ºC cold for the Jiling border patrol troops:

Spot on.
During the Korean War, most of the sufferers of frostbite and cold injuries were black Americans, followed by whites. The Koreans (North & South) and Chinese were minimally affected, even when temperatures plummeted to -35ºC in the mountains in the severe winter of 1950-51.
American war vets speak of sentry guards found frozen in the standing position in the morning. Hundreds lost their toes and fingers; some had to have their legs amputated. Most of the facts we know about cold injuries and their management in the battle arena resulted from research in Korean War cold injuries.
The Americans would have to have their heads examined if they thought of engaging the PLA in northern China in the depths of winter.
Cold Injuries in Korean War During Winter of 1950-51
They look like sinkees.
Pla training can be very extreme. I remember watching a footage of soldiers wearing full nbc suit with gas mask going on a route match in Gobi desert. As the soldiers took off their soviet style suit, sweats pour out like buckets of water.
