Why India not in the World's perfume business ?

Whenever we speak about perfume, it's always France. Okay, I have been to Egypt before and it seems that Egypt has all along been doing OEM for many designer's brands - brands that are famous for clothing rather than perfume.

France remains the mecca of the perfume industry. But why France ? Why not India ?

I think India has a lot more potential than France to come up with a product that will shake the world.
