I am really keen to try eating balut. Never had a chance to visit Philippines, and have only watched this eaten on TV. One of my colleagues goes there often, but he admits he is reluctant to try (don't know why?). On TV shows, even little girls aren't squimish about biting off a piece of the egg. Anybody able to describe what/how balut tastes like? Nice?
