Not new fancy bus stop

This Old Lady was our kampong Land Lady. She's a chain smoker..

Her land was at Plymouth Avenue, just next to the (KLM) than became Orchid Hotel

now changed hand again!

That young lady was screwed by her brother in law, he made her pregnant..

I was very young back than but I know what's happening!!

This picture was taken at Bukit Timah 7 mile stone..now Jurong Kechil..

crossing the bridge leads to a CC.

I've stayed around those areas in the old days. I remember that area was susceptible to the floods.

So poor thing. Singapore coolies work their ass off serving the Angmos colonialists and Angmos having all the fun and enjoying life.

Last time the same. Now still the same.

Why so much prostitutions in Singapore during that time?

So much prostitutions in spore during that time meh? How you draw your conclusion?

Now is different, I was served by some angmos waiter at the restaurant. All thanks to LKY and PAP.

A routine RAF training sortie from Seletar Airbase in the 60s

Haven't been to the Seletar Air Base in decades heard that it has/is being converted to housing? Anyone know the current status of the place?

I lived around that area much of life, there have been huge changes since the 80s. No more the rustic place like in the past, but I often do miss the old place.

The 70s and 80s, Seletar Airbase became Seletar camp for the SAF, the airbase became a civilian airport and a flying school for the Flying Club, and the golf course next to the airbase became Seletar country club.

In the late 90s, SAF moved out and Seletar camp is no more, Seletar country club moved out further away from the airport to a much bigger premises next to Lower Seletar reservoir. Almost all the farms outside Seletar camp and around Jalan Kayu are gone, the land has become HDB housing estate called Fernvale, Sengkang.

In the 2000s, Seletar Camp has become Seletar Aerospace Park for the aerospace industry. Seletar Airport is Singapore's second airport for smaller airline jets and private planes, the flying school and Flying Club are still there. In the 2000s, Seletar airport was expanded and the runway lengthened for bigger planes too.

inside change a lot already. I think most if not all SAF units already moved away. a big area inside was clear to build the aviation maintenance hub. Some of the colonial era houses are available for rental via the SLA website, many angmo from RR rent those houses to stay while office just a stone throw away.

I remember exchanging my bus pass for a camp pass at the guardhouse and cycled inside to 35SCE canteen to play arcade game. Can also play jackpot at the driving range clubhouse when nobody around. those days only military camps can put arcade games legally.

Now mostly all gone, my last drive thru selatar camp from yishun toward hougang was rewarded with the sight of wild boars with piglets feeding on the field the driving range once stood. Govt is also building a road across the punggol river mouth to link the seletar airport.
