This is bullshit. It only happen in movies. In reality, she will gladly run away from him if there is a better financial option. It's same like guys going after pretty one if given a choice between an ugly one and a beautiful women.

Are they being cool or are just plain jerks? Likewise, I see many girls behaving like GCBs and rejecting the poor, lowly educated, nerdy and ugly guys without even giving them a chance.
Both sides are not much better. Before you cast the first stone and say most sinkie women are like gold diggers, ask yourself if you would even make any move to date a woman who is plump, less good looking or below your social class.

Well, it always the case. That is the normal. Women look out for some man in Shiny Armour to love her and protect her. But whether they are worth the sort of love and protection is another story. If they carry such mentality after marriage, i will wish the man well.
If the man marry the women hoping she will look even better, i think the men will be better off alone.
Yes that is very true. And men seem to forget there are also men who marry rich man daughters who helped them to start up their business by giving them capital, which they grow to become their own successful busines. Or the father in law let him join the business which he eventually took over the reins. All these are real examples that I know.
During my student days, I was a bit fat, poor and unattractive. Nearly all the girls around me ignored me. I don't even have the chance to try to be humorous with them. They won't even give me that slightest chance. The few remaining girls who were nice to me only wanted me as a friend. After my 'O' levels, I started to hit the gym a lot more often and exercised more. While I didn't get richer, I certainly became more muscular and fitter. Girls started to be more friendly and some even gave me a chance for dates, relationships and even other benefits.
That was a huge life lesson that I never forgot. That's why I insisted that my kids spend time exercising and I do not allow them to end up becoming obese kids. I don't force them to be super fit or athletes, but at least they have to be of acceptable weight range and physically fit (able to pass their fitness tests).

Yes this applies to both sexes indeed, cannot be too fat or too thin. Actually everything applies to both sexes. From gold digger to physical attractiveness to good character. So men should stop taking moral high ground and condemn only women, as if their own species have no gold digger, all physically attractive and of good character.
