1. Tithe:
one tenth of annual produce or earnings, formerly taken as a tax for the support of the Church and clergy. (Not the whole gin gang)
•(in certain religious denominations) a tenth of an individual's income pledged to the Church.
In biblical time was stated 1/10, nowadays, does it still holds or give until your heart (pocket hurts).
While Christianity originates from the West, Singapore is in South East Asia, what makes one to embrace something that is from so far away....the promise of salvation?. the promise of eternal life?.
Do you give the church more or your parents more or equally both.....why is that so, if you give the church more, are they more important than your parents, or if equally, do you see them as being equal.
