Queen tells angry American she cannot interfere in USA affairs after getting letter begging Britain to take it back
The Queen has been drawn into the US presidential race by an irate American so sick of the republican presidential candidates that they have asked the monarch to take America back.
"Whilst your views have been noted, you will appreciate, I am sure, that there can be no question of The Queen intervening in the affairs of another Sovereign state."

The frustrated countryman wrote to the Queen and asked her take the USA back after feeling disillusioned by the candidates, which include Donald Trump.
Surprisingly, she replied.
Showing Buckingham Palace has a sense of humour, the letter reads: "I have been asked to write in response to your recent letter to The Queen in which you express your views about the American government.
"Whilst your views have been noted, you will appreciate, I am sure, that there can be no question of The Queen intervening in the affairs of another Sovereign state."
It was posted on website Reddit by a user who claimed his friend sent it.
The post read: "Frustrated with the current field of presidential candidates (particularly on the GOP side), my Anglophile friend wrote a trolling letter to the Queen, asking her to take the US back. To our shock, they actually dignified him with a response."
It has since been viewed by more than 2.4m people.
