Victor Lye is a sore loser
....Better still heard some group of residents in hougang and Aljunied are lobbying to seek independence from the ruling party ie need passport to enter their area!! WP will be the government for Hougang & Aljunied!! Have own parliament of 6 members and own ministers to govern the area.
Low TK in parliament for 20 years leh. Know what is shame or not? Almost lost to newbie

So what is the point? LTK ultimately won. Like some PAP minister or MP said before, what is important is winning. I agree because it means the person can stay to serve.
And after 20 yrs, GE 2015 is the lowest amount of votes in percentage he get.

Low Thia Khiang is such a loser. He could barely beat a newbie like Victor Lye. Imagine what would have happened if a Minister of State (not even a full minister) led the PAP team into Aljunied?
Low should commit hara kiri at the next WP AGM to wipe away this shame.
alamak, when LHL led pappies to score lowest vote share of 60% in GE2011, why didn't he resign? He, the son of LKY, the icon of the pappies, and yet no one asked him to resign.
LTK ran the WP against all odds and onslaught of the pappies about town council saga and still he won.
If SL has gone to contest in Fengshan and if CSM has gone to contest in EC , leaving LTK and PS with newbies to fend for Aljunied, then the GRC will definitely be gone for the WP.
SL still has the draw for crowds in HG and Aljunied.
So, LTK is in some sense losing his appeal ... 700 votes is too close to call.
You might not be aware, but Sylvia Lim lost in her own ward against some PAP newbie. If not for the GRC system that she kept bitching about during her election speeches, Sylvia Lim would have been voted out. She needs to suck Pritam Singh's cock for saving the day. Of the 5 WP MPs, Pritam kept his ward by a comfortable 55% majority, followed by Faisal. The 3 chinese WP MPs were really the deadweights in the party. Even Low Thia Khiang barely won against newb Victor Lye.
