1. Selfie Baey
2. Desmond choo - Parachuted from Hougang and nephew of disgraced Pap MP Choo wee khiang
3. Cheng Li hui - another airbourne ranger parachuted from dunno where
4. Masagoes - the token brown face..
5. Heng swee keat -- ok. looks like a decent guy.

Masagoes and Heng are the reasons tampines will stay in pappies' hands. I rate Heng highly among the best pap has to offer from the CS. Very decent chap, not a bad bone in this one. With mbt gone, it will be tougher.

The Tampines demographics should be made up of the 40/50 year olds who are the most hard hit by retrenchments, FT policy and rising costs. I can imagine during the past four years they must have been repenting for voting Mbt.

I hope you are right. The working class always outnumbers the middle class, which is why i think on average voters will remain ambivalent. It will be tough to appeal to the contented working class the way csj did based on their candidate profiles and party platform, not to mention the clandestine elements we are always talking about in this forum.
