What started off as harmless fun and distraction, is starting to spiral into desperate hope. You can see it in their eyes.
The aunties and uncles who queue, buy, scratch, dump and buy again, or strike and use the winnings to buy again and scratch again, right beside the booth window.
The scratchit tickets started small, $1 with the potential to win $10,000. Then it doubled to $2 with the potential to win $25,000.

$128k top prize for scratch-it? well, put it this way... b4 anybody takes the winning on the top prize, 75% of the punting populace already contributed more than 400% of the $128k, while trying so hard to get a chance at striking big.
