[h=2]More gripes from users of new SingPass[/h]

IRENE THAM

FRESH SingPass problems have surfaced, after teething issues brought on by "heavy traffic" to the new authentication system were resolved on Monday.

The enhanced SingPass was rolled out on Sunday to better protect some 100 e-services by 60 government agencies.

But some users who had opted to use its new security feature - a one-time password generated randomly on a calculator-like token or delivered by SMS - in addition to the usual SingPass and user name were left flustered.

As early as 8am yesterday morning, some users complained of being unable to link their token to the enhanced SingPass system on the latter's website.

Others who had linked their phone number and token to the enhanced SingPass system complained that they were locked out of e-government transactions on Tuesday night.

I can't remember having ever used SingPass.

result of too many F Trashes on the job like Nishi Pundek in IDA........... & Sachin Parvin Dere in Crimson Logic

Just another confirmation that the govt simply cannot even get the basics right.

Unfortunately I am not fortunate like toothpick Limp, who gets his CPF statement delivered daily from CPF Board; I have to log in via Singpass to find out, if my money gets 'stolen' or not, anyway, it was more of a donation account.

I logged in before July 01, 2015, I got a blank redirected page, after many tries & many days, same thing, Thought it had to do with my browser, my...whatever..I emailed Singpass help desk; after many days after 01 July, 2015; they replied for me to try again.

I did & they have updated the log in, plus new secret question options added, plus OTP to mobile number or email & 2FA, ( two factor authentication) with OneKey ( assurity Singapore). Everything was fine, until the Onekey link part, it did not work; thought again that, browser etc....then I google & found out, I am not the only one facing the problem.

I had linked my Onekey with my CDP Account with no hitch....but SingPass...is now Stink Pass...ha ha ha , maybe they have too many "degree mills" employees from the dark continent, working for them...hmmm

World class services no more, for Singapore....we are slowly slipping into a dark cesspool or cesspools....

The worst thing that can happen now is the fresh problem becomes stale n smelly

so now ish wat fault? line fault? server fault? token fault? sw fault? moi is very concerned...:D

Sounds like you crave human contact….nothing wrong with that….

Actually I've given up on the PAP gov't. The only time I hear from them is during the GE or when they want me to pay them $ :(
