A middle-aged man went hysterical after an argument with his father over buying dinner and started hacking his father on his back with a kitchen chopper then jumped to his death at Geylang East Avenue 1. The Singaporean deceased, alias Ah Zhong, was last seen arguing loudly with his father who was sick and wanted him to buy dinner.

In a fit of anger, he went to the kitchen to take a chopper and start chasing after his father who tried to ran away. Ah Zhong hacked his father multiple times on his back then jumped off his HDB flat in front of his mother. His father is still receiving treatment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
