This is a big game changer. If WP proves successful, another PAP's hold on Singaporeans will be broken.

Yes, the PAP thought that compelling the MPs to run the TC is another tool to bog down the MP.

MND withheld funds for 2 years ...that is a year before the ministars accused WP TC of criminal activities! Despite their claims, the police has not been called in. Instead, they tried to get their cronies in PWC to create a charge. There was nothing they could cook up, except unsubstantiated claims of possibilities. On that basis, the Auditor General wrote up a baseless report and the ministars kick up a big fuss in Parliament, embellishing their accusations with erroneous data; aside, till this day, Shanmu has yet to clear up that blunder. Meanwhile, they just went ahead to withhold the funds to WP TC.

Despite the financial choke, the WP TC has performed well; services have not suffered. WP TC efficiency is definitely higher than the PAP TC. They did more with less. The data used by the ministars to castigate the WP TC was massaged - out of the blue the PAP TCs were able to reduce fees in the same year that the PAP started attacking the WP TC.

I am just disappointed that the WP TC is letting the PAP run roughshod over them instead of attacking the PAP by educating the populace on how the PAP is failing.

Let's hope the WP step up ...they can't fight PAP by taking it on the chin. It is time to attack now, not till election time. Preparing the ground takes time.

The pap is trying to saturate the WP with all kinds of attacks from all directions and hope to overwhelm SL and LTH.

So far WP and SL and LTK have taken the onslaught well. Singaporeans are more discerning now.

WP should use this opportunity to run a big advertisement encouraging unemployed Singapore citizens, especially PMETs to apply for jobs with WP run TCs.

Priorities should be given to unemployed personnel with relevant experience, and only Singapore citizens who are out of job need apply.

Promise that if WP wins a few more GRCs, all the jobs at the WP run TCs will be open to Singapore citizens who are unemployed.
