Son of US vice-president, Joe Biden, also called Joe Biden, is dead from brain cancer. As for Singapore, PM Lee, son of "Ah Gong" MM Lee, survived cancer twice. What else can I say? Singapore has a great destiny, as long as we keep voting in PAP.

Joseph "Beau" Biden III, an Iraq War veteran who served as the attorney general of Delaware and was a son of Vice President Joe Biden, died Saturday at age 46, the White House said in a statement.

He died after battling brain cancer, according to the vice president's office.

"Beau Biden was, quite simply, the finest man any of us have ever known," his father wrote in a statement.

Biden had suffered known health problems dating back to 2010, when he experienced a stroke that did not affect his motor skills or speech.

In 2013, Beau Biden was treated at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston after he became disoriented and weak while on vacation. He was diagnosed with brain cancer, and after undergoing surgery was given a clean bill of health.

The cancer returned this spring and Biden pursued aggressive treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, the vice president's office said. He died Saturday evening, surrounded by his extended family.

Aside from Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden, Beau Biden is survived by his wife, Hallie; two children, Natalie and Hunter; a brother, also named Hunter; and a half-sister, Ashley.

This is really despicable! Using someone's misery to prop up the Lee regime. PAP balls carriers can stoop so low to beneath human dignity. But then again, this is only to be expected from the PAP.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry canceled the remainder of an overseas trip after breaking his leg Sunday in a cycling accident near Geneva.

Mr. Kerry plans to return to the U.S. later in the day after an examination at a Swiss hospital showed he had fractured his right femur.

The secretary was bicycling near Scionzier, France, near the Swiss border, at about 9:40 a.m. when he had the accident, said John Kirby, a State Department spokesman.

Paramedics and a physician were traveling with Mr. Kerry’s motorcade at the time of the crash and he didn’t lose consciousness, Mr. Kirby said.

A medical helicopter flew Mr. Kerry to University Hospitals of Geneva, where he was evaluated.

Mr. Kerry should make a full recovery and is in good spirits. Mr. Kirby said.

The secretary will be treated for the injury in Boston by the same doctor who performed an earlier hip operation.

Mr. Kerry was in Europe for a round of high-level nuclear negotiations in Geneva with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif as well as planned visits to Spain for bilateral meetings and a trip to Paris for a meeting of countries in the coalition to counter Islamic State. He had planned to fly to Spain later Sunday.

Mr. Kerry frequently cycles during his trips overseas and his rides have become a familiar sight during nuclear negotiations.

Mr. Kerry will participate in the coalition conference in Paris on Tuesday remotely, Mr. Kirby said.
