The Opps will not win in this GE election. The strongest Opps WP has a lot of repair work to do in Aljunied GRC. My feel is that they need to restore the confidence of the Aljunied 's residents first. What they plan to do in Aljunied GRC is critically important as the effect will be rippled across and affects other Opps wards because people are seeing the PAP vs Opps not just the WP. If Aljunied GRC rejects WP as their representative, the Opps may lose all their seats including Hougang.

I remember last election, our forummers were divided 50-50% whether WP would win Aljunied, according to the media, it seemed 50-50% for either side, the actions and words of the PAP or WP revealed not much too. in the end, WP won Aljunied by a comfortable 10% margin.

Realistically it Is unlikely that the Opposition can be the next Government. Honestly other than WP, or maybe the SPP, the rest is unlikely to win any seats.

The best WP can do is to get more seats and hopefully in 2021 or 2026 form the Government.

Actually SDP.has some good folks too, like that Doctor and Benjamin Pwee. But as long as CSJ is running SDP, there is a baggage for SDP and many will stay away.
