Vincent Law is the kind of Christian Singapore needs. Not the money-grubbing ones like Kong Hee or hypocritical reactionaries like Lawrence Khong or the half-baked fundies spamming this forum.
God is so gracious! Sent someone to bail Amos out even though he has insulted Him.
But Amos Yee refused to repent....and ended up getting a big tight slap!
Can you see the Poetic Justice in this? Who said God doesn't exist?
Do not let a religious person to run a state, period.
As a counselor, his job is to advise and provide proper guidance to Amos in the right direction. However, I see it as even he, has failed in this mission, especially with the forever rebellious Amos.
In addition, by giving more praises to Amos is not going to do the latter any good, but will only encourage him to get bolder and gives him the wrong impression of further endorsement that what he had done so far is not wrong. These people are not really helping Amos, but are sending all the wrong signals to him, for better or for worse. Those who are against the government is just using him as a scapegoat for self-release since they have no other better means of doing so by themselves. Shame to these hypocrites.
And you 'allowed' one who is a Hakka to run it?
Do not confuse religion with the character of a person or even one who is of a certain dialect group.
Your sinkiefied problem is you cannot differentiate one from the other or the other from the one. LoL

Amos is the saviour. Like Jesus, he will rise from the dead. Like Jesus, Amos is sacrificing himself.
Wait for the Amos movement!

Is Amos trying to live up to his name ?
".......... Amos means "burden-bearer," and his message to Israel, one of continuous judgment and denunciation, was indeed a heavy burden.
......Amos,......., faced certain rejection and persecution for his message, yet he denounced the Israelites from the beginning to
the end of his book. Prudent people were afraid to speak up for fear of retribution (Amos 5:13), but Amos feared no one ......"

I'm no Christian so hopefully a learned Christian can elaborate ?
